    A little bit about the role...
    Dyer & Butler are seeking a talented CAD Technician to join our Survey team. Primarily supporting our Aviation, Defence and Adjacent Markets sectors covering projects around the Southeast and Midlands.

    The Survey team provides technical services to a range of construction related disciplines, including invaluable support to our divisional teams and departments within design and construction phases of projects.

    This role would be based out of our Heathrow Office and is suitable for existing CAD Technicians or Trainee CAD operators looking to progress their career to the next level.

    As a CAD Technician in aviation, you will be:


    To work as part of the small CAD team in the creation of different types of drawings for a variety of civil and infrastructure projects.

    Provide Dyer & Butler and its clients with high-standard CAD drawings, models, documents, and work reports.
    To work efficiently ensuring standard CAD processes are followed.
    A little bit about you...

    Qualifying Criteria:

    Good user of AutoCAD and Microsoft suite.
    Excellent attention to detail.
    Ability to interpret technical information and drawings and translate this onto CAD platform.
    Good communications skills.
    Assist with survey report compilation.
    Desire for self-development and continuous self-improvement.
    Full UK driving license.

    Desirable:

    Use of the wider Autodesk Suite of products (Revit, NavisWorks etc).
    Understanding of PAS128 survey requirements and of other industry standards.
    Experience in the analysis of GPR data and using GPR post-processing software (External Training can be provided).
    Experience working within the utilities, engineering and aviation sector.
