Description

Our client, one of South Wales' largest Housing Associations, is recruiting for a Development Manager.

This key role is responsible for managing schemes from concept to feasibility, including full viability, funding, planning and the tender process, andensuring schemes are delivered to site in line with the organisation's development programme.

This is an exciting role and you will have the opportunity to work with the land and new business team early in the development process, to work up schemes and to manage schemes through to build contract.

This role will cover both the group's rented projectsand housing for sale developments. This offers a great blend of feasibility and project management work.

Role requirements:

Experience of working within the Housing sector in South Wales, including newbuild social or openmarket developments
A thorough understanding of the technical aspects of building construction and design
Knowledge of external grant funding streams available to the housing sector
