Grade from (R1): £32,982
to £44,263 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £48,350 per annum inclusive of London Weighting through sustained exceptional contribution.

(Pro-rata if Part-time)

Brunel University London is looking to recruit a Research Fellow with mixed methods' research expertise and experience of evidence synthesis/reviews and grant writing in any area of health and social care.


The Department of Health Sciences provides a collegiate and collaborative environment for the conduct of nationally and internationally relevant teaching and research examining contemporary issues aligned with the College Research Centres and University Research Institutes.


The post-holder will work primarily with the Head of Department to develop collaborations, research proposals and publications in areas such as: care quality in health and social care; ethics and professionalism; professional regulation; recruitment and retention of the care workforce; and care of marginalised populations.


The Department of Health Sciences has an international reputation in research relating to global public health, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing and social work.

Opportunities exist across the College and University to develop interdisciplinary, inter-professional and international collaborations.


We are specifically looking to recruit an individual with expertise in mixed methods research and with a commitment to research which contributes to the flourishing of individuals, families and communities.

Applicants will ideally hold or be near completion of a PhD.
