Production Manager

Salary:
£50,000 to £55,000

Benefits: 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, non-discretionary bonus, company pension

Our client based in Brough are a strong and reputable manufacturing business. They have an excellent reputation with their customers and their values align with everything they do. They are seeking a skilled and innovative Production Manager to join their dynamic,fast paced, friendly and professional team.

THE ROLE:
Assume responsibility for the full manufacturing process
Organise workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
Monitor production to resolve issues
Resolve any manufacturing problems and carry out improvement process's for future builds
Supervise and evaluate performance of the manufacturing team
Consider, suggest and implement improvements to efficiency gains
Ensure all annual objectives are achieved by their individual target dates
Ensure Operations KPI's are achieved on a weekly basis
Attend Health and Safety / QA meetings ensuring all action points are completed within the allocated time scale
Assume responsibility for Health & Safety issues with regards staff and their associated workplace.
Continually improve the process
Provide support and cover for other team members
Implement automation or tool and techniques to grow capacity

For this position of Production Manager your hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.00pm Friday 7.30am to 1.00pm.

Required:

Willing to get stuck-in and 'do', as well as 'say'
Proficient on Microsoft office
Likes to get things done
10 + Years experience in production management
Deep knowledge of production management
Good understanding of MRP systems
