We are looking for a Network Operations Team Lead to join a reputable, global organisation that is currently going through a big period of growth.

Bringing the remainder of their technology in-house this is a fantastic time to join and have autonomy over a shift team moving forwards

Innovation is at the heart of this global tech function, using industry leading technologies You'd be joining as a Shift Lead, working closely with global peers, strategic partners and project delivery to ensure continued operational stability.

You'll take charge of the Network Operations Centre during EMEA hours, taking point in the resolution of large network events whilst maintaining oversight of BAU issues.

Core Responsibilities:

To manage a team of network engineers, responsible for the stable running of global data, voice & security networks
Experience managing or leading IT, Network or telecoms operations (or transferable environment)
Indepth knowledge of ITIL, incident, Problem and change management
Lead Incident calls, managing stakeholder expectations and acting as a bridge commander during major incidents
Utilise background in Service Management to refine existing processes, creating new ones where needed
Exposure to risk management and information security is desired
Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with a variety of teams & stakeholders.
Ability to make tough, time efficient decisions
Experience of working in a networking environment is desired (Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Checkpoint etc)

This is a great opportunity to join an organisation where there are clear progression lines and you will have a lot of autonomy over shaping the team moving forwards

This will be a hybrid opportunity based from their offices in Chester, the shifts are 7am-6pm for 4 days and are set.

(there will be no overtime, out of hours etc) We are looking for a strong technical shift lead who is eager to learn and work in a NOC environment.
