    Summer Placement - Business Development

    We are currently recruiting for a placement student to join our Business Development team for a 8-10 week period over summer 2023. The successful candidate will have a keen interest in developing their knowledge in this area and may be studying, or planning to study, a related degree. This is a paid opportunity.

    The role

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Project work such as creating a Business Development (BD) content tracker to enable the Marketing & Business Development teams to see at a glance what marketing materials are available, identify what needs updated, and to work with the team to update the relevant materials, ensuring they are saved in correct and easily accessible locations. This will include business development/marketing materials, including lawyer bios, experience lists and practice/sector overviews.
    • Review and update various internal intranet (confluence) pages.
    • Assist the BD team with certain research activities, such as on upcoming events and firmwide memberships.
    • Assist with a reconciliation of firmwide staff photographs.
    • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the BD team and undertake any other reasonable assistance duties as requested.
