As a team we have an excellent reputation for our recent innovation and leadership to unite, transform and evolve our services according to the changing needs of our population.
We work together within an MDT of social workers, physio,s, D/N's and specialist nurses, to provide assessment, intervention, and rehabilitation to improve function, reduce risk of de-conditioning and improve the well-being of individuals within their own homes.
As a versatile postgraduate, you will need to have knowledge of a range of rehabilitation interventions, complex manual handling, and knowledge in diverse conditions, as well as a good understanding of current issues affecting community and hospital services.
This is an exciting opportunity for two driven individuals, passionate about the value of community Occupational Therapy to maintain momentum in transforming our community services across the organisation for the people of Carmarthenshire and future generations.

Our 11,000 members of staff provide primary, community, in-hospital, mental health and learning disabilities services for around 384,000 people across a quarter of the landmass of Wales.

Degree in Occupational TherapyKnowledge of relevant current health and social care legislation applicable to role
Knowledge and application of Microsoft Office software
Understanding of the roles of other staff groups in health and social care
Knowledge of a range of rehabilitation interventions across all therapies
Understanding and application of clinical governance, including research and audit methodology
Knowledge of other services that link across primary/secondary/intermediate care
Knowledge of Health Board and priorities.
Significant post graduate experience of working as an occupational therapist across a range of settings and variety of conditions
Experience of working in a community setting
Experience of using virtual communication platforms for delivering service.
