You must be able to work as part of the Pharmacy and wider multi-disciplinary team to deliver excellent pharmaceutical care and services to our patients.
The Department of Pharmacy at CUH is ambitious and forward thinking, striving to ensure that the patient is always at the heart of everything we do.
We are a large department with nearly 300 staff comprising of approximately 100 pharmacists and 70 pharmacy technicians. We have a dedicated Education and Training team to support the learning and development of all our employees.To provide pharmaceutical services as required in each section of the rotation.
To provide a clinical pharmacy service to allocated wards.
To undertake postgraduate studies appropriate to the level of competence and availability of funding as appropriate.

You will join a friendly team of Rotational Pharmacists supporting our Pharmacy service.You will undertake a rotational training programme which includes Clinical Services, Dispensary, medicines information, clinical trials and Preparative Services.
During your early career years, you will be provided with a wide range of opportunities to develop the skills, behaviours and attitudes that you will continue to use throughout your career in hospital Pharmacy.

Experience of working in a UK hospital pharmacy
Knowledge of ward pharmacy in at least one clinical speciality.
Knowledge of and ability to follow national protocols and guidance as well as Trust policies.
Flexible and adaptable
Skilled in the application of clinical knowledge to optimise patient care/safety, relative to the level expected of a Band 6 Rotational Pharmacist
