    CCUS Process Engineer - South West

    The Green Recruitment Company have been exclusively engaged by an exciting UK developer, owner, and operator of CCUS assets – to support in their continued growth across the UK. They have developed an exciting next-generation carbon capture system, which will be critical in the fight against climate change.

    Over the last several years, the client have built an industrial scale pilot, R&D facility, and commercial partnerships with industry leaders to develop the next generation of DAC. The Team comprises of a high pedigree of renewable energy & CCUS professionals, however in keeping with their ambitions seek an astute & experienced Process Engineer to further support in their growth.

    As a Process Engineer within their Energy Conversion team, you'll play a vital role in developing and optimising innovative systems and technologies for their CCUS projects. You'll leverage your deep understanding of processes and systems to:

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Spearhead the entire lifecycle of CCUS projects, leading process engineering teams from initial feasibility studies through design, construction, performance testing, and successful handover to operations.
    • Develop a comprehensive suite of technical documentation for CCUS projects, including mass balances, process calculations, P&IDs, heat and energy balances, and all necessary supporting information.
    • Foster seamless collaboration between internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, specialist subcontractors, in-house functions, site installation crews, and construction teams.

    The client are seeking a collaborative and experienced professional (ideally with a background in CCUS, or related process industries) to join their growing team. You'll thrive in a multi-disciplinary environment, providing support and working seamlessly with colleagues. You value a proactive approach, ownership of tasks, and a passion for contributing to business growth.

    Candidate Profile:

    • Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline.
    • Broad industry experience and understanding of multi-disciplinary engineering issues.
    • Knowledge of dynamic gas separation technologies and CO2 removal systems is highly desirable.
    • Openness and understanding of what it means to scale technologies.
