    We are recruiting for a Technical Sales Development to join the team of our client who are based in Milton Keynes. The role is part of the external sales team and you will be responsible for the growth of your patch.

    We are looking for a confident salesperson, with excellent commercial acumen who is outgoing and can build rapport with clients. You don't need specific industry experience for this role

    Key responsibilities for a Technical Sales Development

    Establish new, and maintain existing, relationships with customers to entrench the brand into their business

    Administer customer accounts and pricing

    Accurate sales and product forecasting

    Develop existing and prospective regional accounts

    Searching for new customers who could benefit from the products in a designated region

    Cold call new prospects

    Qualify prospects and determine contacts and account potential

    Regularly visit, maintain and develop national account customers at regional level

    Generating revenue and acquiring customers

    Sales process management

    Experience and skills for a Technical Sales Development

    Desire to sell and manage accounts

    Excellent commercial acumen

    Excellent attention to detail

    Proficient with Microsoft Excel – v-lookups, pivot tables

    A confident communicator

    A natural multi-tasker

    Is trustworthy and takes responsibility for managing deadlines

    Able to learn quickly
