We are looking for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least one year of post-qualification experience to join us on a six month fixed term contract to assist in the delivery of legal services to our clients who have suffered, often life changing injuries, due to medical injury.

You will manage your own caseload of clinical negligence matters and you will work closely with a senior fee earner on high complexity claims.

As well as being a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 1-3 years of post qualification experience specialising in the clinical negligence field, we would like you to be experienced in running and managing your own clinical negligence caseload with minimal supervision.

We would like you to have the following experience:

• conducting meetings and interviews with clients, experts and Counsel
• have the ability to assess legal issues and advise accordingly in a client friendly way
• experience in drafting complex documents and letters
• experience of Inquest representation is desirable but not essential but we would like you to have a willingness to develop skillset in this area

If you are working remotely, we would like you to travel to our Bury St Edmunds office once a month for team days and meetings.
