£280 per day (Via Umbrella)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a SEN Case Officer within a Local Authority to assist the Education Department for an initial period of 3 months.

You will be required to complete all statutory assessment processes and all EHC case work.

This a fantastic opportunity for a SEN Case Officer to come into a busy team and use their attributes and skills to complete the work required.

Essential Skills & Abilities Knowledge and understanding of the legislation relating to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
Knowledge and understanding of the Education system from years.

Knowledge and understanding of recent developments in the field of SEN and Disabilities, and the education landscape and context.

Practical experience in a relevant field to include working with parents, families and education providers
Job Role To carry out the casework associated with the statutory assessment process.
To contribute to new service developments.

To support children and young people and their parents and carers and schools involved in the statutory assessment process.

To have high expectations of all children and young people in the Service.

To ensure equality of opportunity for all children and to maintain good communication links with parents, other services and agencies.
