We're are recruiting for a driven and dedicated Electrician to join our FM team at HMP Fosse Way, a brand new Category C resettlement prison in Leicester with the capacity to house around 1,700 prisoners.
As the FM Electrician you will carry out fault finding and defect rectification to items of electrical plant and equipment, pre-planned maintenance of items of electrical plant and equipment and installation of new plant and apparatus.
This role is ideally suited to someone starting up their Electrician career or someone who is looking to step away from vast travel and be based on site full timeIn return we can offer a supportive and collaborative environment that respects work/life balance and ultimately contributes to the delivery of vital public services in the UK.
The working week is Monday to Friday from 08.You will need C & G Electrical Certificate or other recognised electrical trade qualification and you must have served a recognised trade apprenticeship and qualified to BS7671 (Current Edition of the IEE Regulations).
Finally, you will have at least 5 years associated trade experience post apprenticeship and must be prepared to undertake training courses to expand on their technical abilities if required by the business.
