Expleo are working with a major Automotive Manufacturer in the UK, our client is looking for a Project Engineer with a background in Autonomous Driving & / or Advanced Driving, to join their research and development facility. Based close to Milton Keynes / Bedford, you will be working within a dedicated team of development engineers, on an ongoing contract basis.

You will provide front line design management and technical support globally, to investigate development or manufacturing concerns related to ADAS and Active Safety technologies.

The ADAS Engineer is responsible for:

• Providing information flow between manufacturing and design / test for ADAS

• Management of suppliers

• ADAS systems management

• Validating the logic and functional operation of ADAS systems

• Root cause investigation of complex electrical concerns

• Coordinate component hardware and / or software retrofit

The successful ADAS Engineer will have the following skills and experience:

• Ideally degree educated (or equivalent) in Engineering related field

• Knowledge of active safety system control / electrical architecture / ECU hardware and software is desirable

• Good problem solving skills

• Ability to risk assess software modifications and develop appropriate test plans

• Hold a full and clean UK driving license
