Part Time Buyer

A Centre of Excellence for a global manufacturing business is looking for a Part Time Buyer to join their team

Working 24 hours a week, you will support the needs of the production and prototype part purchasing, supplier development and customer/supply logístical control


Key responsibilities

  • Purchasing of components
  • Communicating with suppliers on lead times, pricing and deliveries
  • Request quotations and raise purchase orders
  • Assist in the development of existing and sourcing new suppliers
  • Supplier audits
  • Monitoring of contracts
  • Be part of new projects

The person

  • Previous experience in a purchasing role
  • Ideally holding a supply chain, business or engineering qualification
  • Ability to read a technical drawing
  • Excellent communication skills
