FSL carry out quality, hygiene, and safety inspections across the UK for a wide range of clients.

We independently monitor the quality and safety of the food they present to customers, giving them the data to make measurable improvements and have total confidence that their business is complying with food safety and health & safety legislation.

We have an exciting and varied opportunity for a part time, food industry professional to carry out a range of catering and cleaning inspections at schools, pubs and supermarkets predominantly in London and the M25 area.

Data on non-conformances are recorded using handheld devices and reported back to headquarters on completion of the inspection.

You will need to work well using your own initiative and have a great manner with both colleagues and clients.

Reports are written, so good literacy skills and a strong attention to detail are essential.

The role involves travel to our clients' sites so a car is essential.

An enhanced Disclosures and Baring Services certificate (DBS) is an essential requirement of the role as we audit within education settings.

We are interested in individuals with qualifications such as:
Food Safety

Health & Safety

Inspection / Auditing Training

Or other similar qualifications

The role would suit those with the following experience:
Food Quality or Food Safety

Food Inspectors / Auditors

Chefs / Catering, particularly in a school setting.

Food Production

Technical and quality teams in the food or cleaning industry

The Package:
£12.00 / Hour

Variable and flexible hours, but we anticipate around 2 days per week.

Travel costs away from base location will be covered at 45 p per mile or expenses for public transport will be paid.
