    Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director based in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth in the EMEA region for hospitality groups, focusing on amenities, OSE, and textiles in both direct and indirect markets.

    Responsibilities:

    • Drive accelerated growth and increase profits by securing new business deals with large hospitality groups.
    • Lead and develop a team of 7 business development professionals located in the UK, EU, and Middle East.
    • Review the current sales structure and implement a new business development framework, including hiring new team members, identifying skill gaps, providing coaching, and ensuring business fit.
    • Achieve sales targets within a 5-year growth period by acquiring new independent properties and group accounts in the EMEA region.
    • Create and execute strategies to target specific customer segments aligned with the company's strategic growth plan, including luxury and midscale hotels, as well as channel partners in key European markets.
    • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities and trends, while assessing and reporting on the competitive landscape.
    • Build and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Analyze financial data, forecast revenue, and manage budgets related to business development activities.
    • KPIs tracking on a quarterly basis, including sales performance versus budget, growth plan, forecast, sales pipeline, closing rates, and profitability (profit per case).

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in B2B sales within the hospitality supplies industry.
    • Proven track record in securing large-scale hotel contracts for the supply of amenities or OSE, with a focus on major hotel group headquarters.
    • Strong international exposure, particularly in the UK, UAE, KSA, Germany, Australia, and the EU.
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across different cultures.
    • Proficient in commercial negotiations and strategic thinking, with a knack for innovative solutions.
    • Strong track record of networking and building long-term partner relationships at all levels.
    • Commercial flair and a progressive approach to the hospitality sector.
    • Experience in team leadership, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and engage team members.
    • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
    • Global mindset and ability to navigate cross-cultural business environments.
    • Confident and strong communication style.
    • Ideally based in the UK, but flexible if located within the EMEA region.
