Job Description:


Please note this is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

Working hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.

  • Responsible for delivering a professional and efficient Purchasing service to the labs in accordance with KPI's.
  • Receive and process purchase requisitions accurately and efficiently in line with company and departmental policy, processes, and procedures.
  • Obtain quotes, and negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, escalating as appropriate.
  • Ensure performance against departmental KPIs and best practices is achieved.
  • Deliver savings and other valueinuse benefits to Eurofins.
  • Drive standardization and rationalization of the product and supplier base, in close conjunction with the internal stakeholders.
  • Manage the process for onboarding new suppliers to Eurofins in line with company policy and procedures.
  • Review and approve/reject supplier invoice queries.
  • Maintain system records and purchasing databases for accurate pricing and supplier data.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure an excellent level of service is provided whilst ensuring adherence to purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Support internal customers with correct use of the Coupa purchasing system.
  • Proactively share knowledge and best practices with colleagues within and outside your scope
  • Support the team with continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience of working in an administrative role within Purchasing.
  • Good standard of Maths & English.
  • Organised and able to multitask.
  • A customer focused approach to meet the business needs and align on priorities.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Team player who is able to work well under pressure.
  • Possesses a 'cando attitude and has a passion to succeed.
  • Good knowledge of purchasing systems and procedures.
  • Experience with Coupa (preferable but not essential) or other purchase to pay systems.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office (word, excel, PowerPoint)
