Role Overview


Fintelligent are exclusively supporting a fast growing, PE backed, multi-site business, with revenues in excess of £40m, in sourcing a high calibre Finance Director to lead them through a period of transformation.

As number 1 in finance, you will be directlyresponsible for ensuring a continually fit for purpose finance function whilst adding significant strategic value whilst partnering with an experienced leadership team and one the best mid-market PE houses in the UK.

Alongside, you will be spearheading thegroup acquisition strategy and the eventual PE exit process.

Main Duties

  • Developing a best in class finance function in line with business growth
  • Managing senior external relationships including suppliers and banks
  • Strong focus on EBITDA improvement
  • Improving monthly MI flow and reporting to investors
  • Supporting the overall company growth strategy including expansion overseas
  • Leading the eventual PE exit including financial due diligence and onboarding
  • Identifying business growth opportunities including M&A
  • Any other adhoc duties
Person Specification

  • Fully qualified accountant, ideally top 4 trained
  • Strong management skills
  • Experience within Private Equity is a must, ideally having supported an exit
  • Influential and strategic leadership
  • A background in M&A, corporate finance or similar is desirable
  • Strong commercial awareness
