    Description

    We're on the lookout for an Accounts Assistant to join an energetic and fast-growing accountancy firm based in Bramhall, an employee-owned company with a proven focus on culture, growth and development.

    As a Accounts Assistant, you'll be rewarded with a salary of £28,000, plus study support and an annual bonus after your first year.

    You'll also benefit from 34 days of holiday (which increases with service), monthly team get-togethers, and annual incentive trips to exciting destinations like Las Vegas, Barcelona, and New York

    As a Accounts Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

    • Registering the company for all relevant taxes.
    • Securing company information from clients each quarter to prepare quarterly management accounts.
    • Preparing statutory yearend accounts without error within three months of company year ends.
    • Issuing company accounts for director's signature and ontime filing at Companies House.
    • Preparing PAYE/NI returns, issuing to directors, and ensuring ontime submission.
    • Corporation tax computation, timely payment, and CT600 filings.
    As a Accounts Assistant, you'll receive:

    • Study support for AAT and ACCA qualifications.
    • 34 days holiday (rising with service), including your birthday off.
    • Company incentive targets and annual incentive trips.
    • Access to a games room, bar, and flexible working space.
    • The ideal person for the Accounts Assistant role should:
    • Be AAT qualified or ACCA part qualified or an accounting & finance graduate.
    • Have detailed knowledge of the SAGE accounts system or a similar system.
    • If you've previously held or are interested in the following roles, you might be the perfect fit for our Accounts Assistant position: Financial Accountant, Management Accountant, Corporate Accountant, Tax Accountant, Accounting Specialist, Assistant Accountant, or be an Accounting & Finance graduate.
