Customer Service Trainer


We are looking for an experienced and motivated
Customer Service Trainer to join our team in Blairgowrie and help us maintain our high standard of customer service.

You will responsible for delivering a comprehensive and continuous internal training program that will provide Customer Services Advisors with the necessary skills and knowledge to enable them to provide a high standard of service to our business customers.


You will also work closely with Senior Managers, Team Leaders and Customer Service Advisors to understand where training is needed, and to develop and deliver effective training content.


You can expect to be part of a positive and supportive team, with a strong emphasis on structured training and support to help you succeed in your role.

Starting salary from £25,000, depending on experience. This is a permanent post with an immediate start date, working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. We offer Hybrid working with a combination of both office and home/remote working.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Deliver customer service training programs to ensure that staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with other teams to create training materials that reflect our company values, customer service standards and policies
  • Identify areas of improvement and implement changes to training programs as required
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement
  • Provide coaching and feedback to customer service staff to help them improve their performance
  • Stay up to date with best practices and trends in customer service training and development
  • Liaise with L&D Specialist where external training has been identified

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Experience in a customer service training role, preferably in a contact centre environment
  • Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to design and deliver effective training programs
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring customer service staff
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with elearning platforms and training technologies
