Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of a Financial Controller based in West Lothian paying up to £60,000.

The Opportunity

The company is seeking a Financial Controller that is capable of leading it's finance function to ensure it can accelerate its thirst for growth.

With the forecasted growth and expansion, it creates a clear pathway for the successful individual to carveout a Finance Director role and become part of the Board.

The key components of the role include:

Working closely with the leadership team to aid decisions, achieve strategic objectives & influence the direction of the business.
Hiring, training, development and managing of a lean & talented finance team
Ensuring a robust financial control environment that is fit for purpose to allow for accelerated scaling, growth & expansion
Ownership of:
Annual audit
Statutory accounting
Production and presentation on monthly management accounts & Board packs
Budgeting and forecasting
Cashflow analysis & management
Variance analysis
KPI setting & reporting
Balance sheet integrity
Taxation & VAT
Monthend & transaction functions
AP, AR, Credit Control

A qualified Accountant would be the preference, but they are also open to qualified by experience.
