Overall purpose of the job:

Key responsibilities for this job:

  • Have the ambition to become a Presales Technical Design Authority engaging with engineering departments during the design stage of new solutions following technical governance and commercial processes. PTDA spend time working with the Exponentiale R&D team to verify a vendor's solution and document their capabilities
  • Support the daytoday deliverables of the Solution Team, including answering Sales Account Managers and Solution consultant enquiries and requests relating to document amendments, diagram updates and quotation approvals.
  • Aid our contract renewals team to identify technical discrepancies in current solutions, identifying bandwidths, end of life equipment, and inactive services
  • Assist in qualifying new opportunities technically & commercially.
  • To attend customer meetings with Sales Account Managers and proactively take part in customer conference calls
  • Work with the Solutions Consultants and the Exponentiale Bid Team to respond to tenders (RFI/RFP)
  • Build close working relationships with Product Management, Sales, Solution Consultant & Engineering teams throughout all elements of your role.
  • Work with the Sales Engineering Team to develop and maintain technical design documentation of our products and solutions.
  • Lastly, work as a team player to assist in the smooth running of the Solutions department

Knowledge and experience required:

  • Keen and demonstrable significant interest in IT / Telecoms
  • Worked in a Sales environment
  • The ability to articulate technical concepts to a nontechnical audience
  • Having handson experience is desirable

Desirable Knowledge and experience:

  • Ability to demonstrate essential understanding in a minimum of one of Exponentiale cornerstones
  • Attended Higher Education with demonstratable achievements
  • Vendor accreditations
