We currently have an opportunity for a Transport Operational Support & Activity Planner.


Area of Responsibility:

  • Overseeing the production of the daily and weekly plans for the operations using Transport Planning systems.
  • Plan in accordance with driver hours legislation
  • Actively manage transport and warehouse KPIs
  • They will also identify and report all operational problems to the Operations Manager on a regular basis, making recommendations for improvement as well as regularly analysing reports against KPI targets.
  • Work to strict SLAs in terms of timescales and quality
  • Analyse reports against KPI targets and advise on actions to improve results
  • Analysing actual operational performance and amending planning parameters accordingly
  • Communication with warehouse, admin and transport teams. Must be flexible in work place as the role will require holiday cover for our Duncrue site.
Essential

Essential Qualifications

Educated to A level

Warehouse and Transport knowledge

Warehouse Management Systems

Proficient use of MS Excel

Desirable

Paragon Experience
