The role of Group Accountant will suit a newly Qualified ACA making their first move from Audit or someone who is technically strong working in a group role with strong experience in group consolidations, IFRS and UK GAAP.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a company that will support your development, offer you the opportunity to progress within the company and they operate on a hybrid/flexible working model.

Some of your responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Prepare the group monthly consolidated accounts
  • Manage the intercompany reconciliations
  • Preparation of audited accounts under IFRS and UK GAAP
  • Assist in the year end Group Audit and Preparation of all notes
  • Oversee the group chart of accounts
  • Manage the integrity of the consolidation system
  • Provide basic technical advice to the wider business.
  • Management of intra group charges
  • Support the wider UK finance team as needed
  • Support and cover for the GFC as needed
