    Job Description

    To ensure that New Homes has an effective SHEQ management systems that enables legal compliance and continual improvement.

  • To maintain the New Homes SHEQ management systems in line with ISO standards 45001, 14001 & 9001 to ensure legal compliance and continual improvement and remain externally certified to the respective standards.
  • Ensure an appropriate New Homes SHEQ audit assurance plan is established and executed in line with ISO 45001, 14001 & 9001 standards and that any risks or non-conformances have a suitable action plan.
  • Evaluate audit findings and implement corrective actions
  • Act as the key day to day contact / relationship manager for our external ISO certification provider (BSI) ensuring best value.
  • Review and amended where required the New Homes SHEQ processes/procedures to ensure that they meet our needs and are legally compliant
  • Ensure that New Homes maintain their legal registers and access to key standards (The Compliance People).
  • Maintaining / co-ordinating external subscriptions, non-ISO certifications and award submissions.
  • Act as the key day to day contact / relationship manager for our event & inspection management system (EcoOnline) ensuring best value.
  • Ensure that New Homes maintains their COSHH assessments (Alcumus Sypol).

  • Strong team player who can build effective relationships
  • Good self-motivation, time management and ability to work remotely.
  • Experience of establishing, implementing, managing and continually improving SHEQ management systems.
  • Can coach members of the SHEQ team regards ISO standards and auditing
  • IT literate with a keen eye for data accuracy.
  • Has a formal qualification in SHEQ
