Description
We are currently recruiting for
Development Manage r to be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality software products across multiple, autonomous development teams.
To coach and manage the engineersin an Agile DevSecOps environment ensuring they are continuously improving themselves, their processes, the technologies they own, and their product outcomes.
Our office is based in Leeds, Thorpe Park and we offer hybrid working opportunities (50/50 office and home based).- Lead and manage multiple highly skilled teams of software, QA, and data engineers
- Coach engineers and team leaders to grow their own careers and capabilities
- Work with engineers and product managers to balance the customerfacing, technological, and organisational transformation objectives
- Run productive, efficient Agile teams utilising the appropriate frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
- Recruit new skilled engineers into the teams
- Ensure teams are maintaining and continuously improving the BigChange's software and systems
- Ensure architecture, quality, and technology strategies are understood and implemented by the teams.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Strong emotional Intelligence
- Excellent communication skills
- A good understanding of Web and B2B SaaS technologies
- Demonstrated skill line managing multiple skilled technical staff
- Experience coaching individuals to set personal objectives and obtain promotions and/or professional growth using formalised techniques and approaches.
- Able to discuss the patterns and principles of software engineering, good process practices, and emphasise the importance of delivery
- Strong working knowledge of Agile Scrum
- Ability to motivate and inspire teams
