Position:
Repair Centre Supervisor


Location:
Glasgow, Head Office


Job Type:
Full time, Permanent - Monday to Friday, 39.5 hours per week


Salary:
£31-32,500.00

The Role:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the quality of all machine production within their control
  • To maximise departmental efficiencies, reduce spare part usage and minimise wastage
  • Abide by all legal and Health and Safety requirements
  • Adhere to the Company Hygiene Policy
  • Monitor and control their area of responsibility in an organised and efficient manner and keep appropriate records
- endeavour to form a committed, motivated, effective team who are fully aware of the aims of the department and the Company

  • Ensure the success of the department by communicating effectively
  • Review absences due to illness or poor time keeping and report any problems to the Repair Centre Manager at the start of the day
  • Administration activities should be carried out in a correct and professional manner at all times
  • Documentation should be kept ensuring an audit trail is possible by external auditors

Experience

To be considered for this opportunity it is essential that you have previous experience in a similar role in a repair centre environment, with a passion for delivering individual and team targets.

Youll be a successful people manager who is able to lead and develop a high-performing team.


Skills / Knowledge:

You will be educated to Scottish Standard Grade / National 4 / equivalent.

You will be competent in all Microsoft Office packages and you will have a high level of numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Youll have a strong, working knowledge of Health & Safety standards within a fast-moving food manufacturing environment.
