Description

Summary
Join us in providing outstanding teaching and learning experiences for our pupils. We are looking for a qualified, experienced teacher to join Harris Academy Rainham as Lead Practitioner of RE. We are happy to be flexible on full-time and part-time working patterns.

We pride ourselves in having a curriculum that has powerful, rigorous and engaging content, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to answer deep and challenging questions around religion and life.

It is deliberately structured to create a narrative from Year 7 to Year 9, covering all six world religions to exploring challenging philosophical debates such as the mind-body-soul argument and epistemology.

All of our lessons are co-planned by the team and each lesson delivered is the same across all teachers to ensure consistency and to help support with work load.

All books are live marked in the classroom and teachers are not required to mark them outside of lesson time.
