Responsibilities


As a Reactive Works Supervisor, you'll be working within our Highways team to provide first level supervision of both internal and external operations, oversee the day-to-day functions of the routine maintenance and small works schemes and ensure a high level of services is maintained throughout.


Your day to day will include:

  • Assist the Operations Manager in the programming, management and delivery of routine and severe weather services
  • Daily allocation and supervision of works and resources to ensure compliance with program and the maintenance requirement plan
  • Assist in emergency response and organize remedial repairs
  • Undertake and maintain records of site inductions/briefings/Toolbox talks
  • Ensure that adequate staffing levels are continually maintained

Who are we looking for?
This role of Reactive Works Supervisor is great for you if you can:

  • Experience of working within the highways industry including knowledge of network operations and scheme delivery
  • SSSTS or higher
  • Computer literate with regards to Microsoft programmes
