Director of IT Strategy and Architecture
West Midlands- hybrid 2/3 days per week typically
bonus up to 50%, car allowance, 7% pension + core benefits

Working for this major UK brand and household name, in a technology led and customer data enabled business, we are looking for a Director of IT Strategy and Architecture to lead the IT strategy and architecture capability for the future.

Technology is a central part of driving the future success and growth of new and current service lines, further leveraging the data they hold, and looking for opportunities to integrate future technology trends ahead of their competitors, where relevant.

Working directly in to the CIO and sitting on the technology leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the future direction of technology across the business, ensuring the necessary technology platforms are in place to achieve strategic company goals.

You will create and maintain the company's technology strategy and roadmaps underpinning this with innovative and creative, customer-focused solutions.

You will be a visionary of future trends, assessing suitability and benefit versus customer requirements and the overarching business strategy, using data-led decision making.

You will then identify and update necessary changes to the current enterprise-level architecture to enable digital and omnichannel strategies.

As the IT Strategy and Architecture Director you will own the architecture roadmap, build and develop the Strategy and lead an established and high-functioning team of architects.

You will continuously assess the technical strategy, direction and provide over-arching governance to enterprise architecture.
Able to showcase a track record of developing innovative technology and digital strategies that have enabled business growth.
A proven strategic-level technology leader within enterprise and technical architecture design.
Strong commercial acumen.
