Acting on behalf of my client Coop Group I am recruiting a fantastic temporary opportunity within their Finance department. This is an amazing opportunity to start or continue your career in finance. Training is provided with this role. This role requires someonewith Finance experience.

Job Role deliverables
- reconcile the main accounts receivable bank account, ensuring financial integrity is always maintained and that all reconciling items and adjustments are resolved within agreed deadlines
- reconcile all merchant coupon redemptions for the food stores and ensuring non-invoiced redemptions is mínimalized whilst ensuring the dilution is kept to agreed parameters
- reconcile the bridging contra process daily. Identifying items not processed and non-accounts receivable entries and the reasoning behind them
- process a number of period end ACR's to the general ledger with full detailed aged analysis together with preparation of weekly and periodic KPI's
- be responsible for accurate data loading and reconciling Cash & Reconciliation general ledger balance sheet accounts and Cash & Reconciliation bank accounts on a daily/weekly/period basis
- prepare and validate period end ACR's to the general ledger with full detailed aged analysis
- assist in the production and review of process documentation and the training of new/existing team members and provide support and guidance to them as required
- co-ordinate the timely resolution and escalation of issues arising on a day-to-day basis ensuring that own knowledge to deal with such issues is developed for the future

  • Experience with basic Microsoft Office functionality (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to consistently deliver high quality customer service in a professional manner; effective listening and good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organisation and problem solving skills
  • Ability to learn quickly (on the job and through training)
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise critical items and identify risk
