    Description

    Our Client based in Bradford BD3 is looking for Hygiene Supervisor to join the team on the permanent basis .This will be a supervisory role, however you will step in for the Hygiene manager when they are not on site.

    You will be tasked to lead the hygiene team and be responsible in maintaining food safety across the plant.

    Pay: £29478 plus OT

    Overtime rates: Mon-Sat at 1.25 and Sunday at Double

    Shift: 4on 4off (2 days 2 nights 4 off - 6-6)

    Industry: Manufacturing - Food

    Holidays/Benefits: up to 7.5% pension contribution, 20 days holiday.

    Overview:

    We now require an additional Hygiene manager to join the team. This will be a supervisory role, however you will step in for the Hygiene manager when they are not on site.

    You will be tasked to lead the hygiene team and be responsible in maintaining food safety across the plant.

    Key responsibilities of the Hygiene manager role:

    Responsible for ensuring compliance to Master Cleaning Schedule, continuously improving the hygiene standards and ensuring safety, legal and central requirements are always adhered to.

    ? Provide guidance to all hygiene operatives on day-to-day hygiene activities

    ? Train the Hygiene Operators in safe and effective cleaning according to the Work instructions

    ? Provide technical guidance and hands on support during plant shutdown cleans

    ? Provide support to the Hygiene Manager managing, developing and leading their team

    ? Provide stand in cover for the Hygiene Manager

    The ideal candidate / Hygiene manager may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

    ? Extensive knowledge of hygiene and cleaning within a food manufacturing environment

    ? Relevant industry experience including experience of legal requirements (manual handling, safe systems, HACCP etc).

    ? Preparation of cleaning work instructions

    ? Good knowledge of pest control procedures

    ? Good verbal, numerate and writing skills

    ? Be able to work at heights using Ladders, scaffolding, scissor lifts etc.

    ? Full knowledge of COSHH and chemical usage and storage

    ? Experience of carrying out training

    ? Level 2 or above in Food Hygiene

    Commutable from Leeds, Bradford and surrounding areas.
