    About the Role:
    Join the team as a Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant, where you'll be at the forefront of their operations.


    Your key responsibilities will include:
    Processing supplier and customer invoices efficiently

    Monitoring sales ledger and ensuring timely debtor follow-ups

    Handling daily department takings processing and banking preparations

    Resolving invoice and payment queries promptly

    Conducting statement and monthly bank reconciliations with precision

    Assisting with monthly payroll processing and contributing to process improvements

    Managing general administrative tasks and providing insightful reports and analysis as required.


    About You:
    Ideally two years of relevant experience in accounts/bookkeeping

    Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel is essential

    Sage50 accounting software experience would be advantageous, but not mandatory

    Confident to push back on discrepancies on supplier invoices

    Able to prioritise and manage your own workload.

    Reactive and able to handle incoming ad-hoc tasks

    A proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new challenges

    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under deadlines

    Meticulous attention to detail and a collaborative team spirit

    For the right candidate, funding for AAT or equivalent training could be available
