    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead and oversee the financial operations of our subsidiary within the Applus Laboratories group, based out of our location Silverstone, UK. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, with a strong background in analytics, controlling tasks, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A).

    Responsibilities

    • Controlling Tasks: Implement and maintain financial controls and processes to ensure compliance and minimize financial risks.
    • Audit and Compliance: ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
    • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, as well as provide accurate financial forecasts to support strategic planning.
    • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • FP&A: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support FP&A activities, providing insights and recommendations for improving financial performance. Develop KPIs, metrics and dashboards.
    • Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for business operations.
    • Business Partner to General Manager (GM): Collaborate closely with the General Manager to provide financial insights, strategic guidance, and act as a business partner in driving the company's success.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
    • 7-10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
    • Strong analytical skills and experience with financial modeling.
    • Knowledge of controlling tasks and experience with financial controls.
    • Exposure to PowerBI tools and implementation is preferred.
    • Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Leadership and team management experience.
    • Experience with SAP will be a valuable.
