    Live In or Live Out Housekeeper, Sherborne, Dorset

    An exciting job opportunity is available for a dynamic housekeeper who can take care of a stunning, recently renovated family home in the picturesque location of Dorset. The family is extremely kind and friendly, and they have been associated with Greycoat Lumleys for quite some time. They have three children and a pet dog, and they are looking for someone who has previous experience in a similar role and possesses a positive and proactive attitude. The ideal candidate should also enjoy working in a team environment and will have the support of the live-in couple at the property. In addition to keeping the main house and outdoor areas clean and tidy, the housekeeper will be responsible for assisting with cooking the evening meal, which will be shared with the other housekeeper. The family also has a working area on the property and additional guest accommodation on-site.

    Duties to include but not limited to:

    • Housekeeping
    • Laundry, ironing and fabric care to include dry cleaning.
    • Cooking simple family meals
    • Provisioning for the household and any ad-hoc duties
    • Running local errands
    • Flexible for any child minding /pet sitting or house sitting on occasion.

    This is the ideal role for a housekeeper who has a great work ethic, works to a high standard, can communicate well, can work independently and alongside others.

    This is a busy home and the family requires a housekeeper who is organised, hardworking, reliable, and discreet who will respect the family's privacy.

    Applicants must be a driver with their own car.

    Start date: As soon as the right person is found

    Working week: Monday - Friday, (Infrequent weekend work may be required from time to time)

    Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Depending on experience

    Accommodation for Live In: 1 bedroom separate annex of the main house pets and partners will be considered
