We're now on the look out for understanding and motivated *female colleagues who really want to make a difference to the lives of others to join our busy Community Support team in Knightswood.


The Role


You will be joining a small, dedicated team of
Support Practitioners providing support for two women within their own homes in the Knightswood area.

The role will involve a combination of lone-working and 2:1 support.


As a
Support Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in assisting the people we support with all aspects of daily living, including helping to prepare meals, providing personal care, shopping, domestic tasks and helping the women we support to get out into the community.

Our teams adopt a person-centred approach to provide the highest quality support to enable the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, with a focus on maintaining and improving independence.

Support Practitioner, you will be:

Shift Patterns

  • Your normal hours of work will be between 9.00 am and 8.00 pm, Monday to Sunday, and will be a mix of split shifts, shorter shifts and longer blocks of support. You will be expected to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, sleepovers and public holidays as part of your rota.

  • For this position, female is an Occupational Requirement as defined by the Equality Act 2010.


If you're successful in joining our team, you will be expected to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and must be willing to work towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare as required for SSSC registration.

We will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
