Business Development Manager - Hybrid - London
To assist in the growth of the business through targeted prospecting, sales and marketing working in conjunction with the Head of Business Excellence and Operations Team to ensure proposals are achievable and profitable for the company
Reporting to the Managing Director with a dotted line into Business Development Director from a joint business stream.

You will be working on New Business wins / creating relationships with potential clients and mapping out the London market.

Identifying new business opportunity with current client base and expanding this, along with writing tenders.


You:


  • Have an operational background in Corporate Reception Services / Hotels
  • Be driven and able to work on your own initiative
  • Be passionate about Customer Service
  • High level of written English
  • Stake holder Management able to hold your own
  • Organisational skills
  • Be able to present to a room of high level business people / stakeholders
  • Be comfortable travelling around the UK

Responsibilities:


  • To manage the sales process from prospecting to lead generation, tender to successfully win new business and working with the operational and bid team to deliver achievable financial and operational proposal and achieve annual sales target.
  • Research & marketing: Research leads and assist in qualifying prospects
  • Coordinate client, consultant and prospect activity and follow up actions with the team
  • Relationships: Build prospect relationships through market activity
  • Representing the business at networking events
  • Sales Tenders: Develop creative and compelling sales tenders and proposals
  • Manage sales process to meet all deadlines
  • Achievement of annual sales target
  • Document Production: Develop high quality and creative documents and assist with collating, formatting, layout and printing as required
  • Maintain an updated file of standard information required for prequalification and tender documents
  • Presentations: Management, coordination and preparation of marketing materials and requirements for presentations
  • Site Visits: Management, coordination and preparation for site visits
  • Mailings: Coordinate mail outs to clients, prospects & consultants
  • Events: Invitation, mailings and lists for events both internal and external events
