- Lead and manage the conveyancing department, including supervising solicitors and support staff.
- Oversee all aspects of property transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers, and remortgages.
- Manage a caseload of conveyancing matters from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and clients are kept informed throughout the process.
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on property law matters.
- Review and draft legal documents, including contracts, leases, and transfer deeds.
- Conduct due diligence and title searches to identify any legal issues affecting the property.
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other relevant parties to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Stay updated on changes in property law and regulations, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
- Minimum 5 years PQE with a valid practicing certificate.
- Extensive experience in conveyancing law, with a proven track record of managing complex property transactions.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
