£23,000 then rising to £25,250 after training

Continentals (4 on 4 off)


Jackson Hogg is delighted to be exclusively partnering with Palram DPL based in Newton Aycliffe in their search for a Production Operative on a permanent basis.

Palram is a world-leading manufacturer of extruded thermoplastic sheets and panel systems with locations on six continents. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking company.


Day to day duties of the role include:

  • Setting up, adjusting and maintaining extrusion line
  • Load raw materials into extrusion machine
  • Operate extrusion machine to initiate production process
  • Quality check of products to ensure they meet standards and tolerances
  • Setting up, adjusting and maintaining extrusion line

Experience and skills:


  • Previous manufacturing experience required.
  • Communication skills and ability to work part as team.
  • Familiarity safety protocols

Key details:

- £23,000 rising to £25,250 after training period
- £900 shift allowance per annum

  • Overtime shifts paid at time a half
  • Continental shift pattern 7 till 22 days holiday per year
