- Experience of providing an effective support for learners with complex needs is desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues within the Academy and other professionals.

- Deaf Academy Teacher salary scale, with progression through standard and higher levels of pay depending on good performance, plus an additional SEN point depending on qualifications.
