    Description

    Job Title: Water Hygiene Plumber.
    Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands.
    Salary / Benefits £22k - £35k + Training + Benefits

    We are working with an independent and long-standing Water Hygiene / Legionella company. They are now seeking to take on a qualified and hard-working Water Hygiene Plumber. The successful candidate will be carrying out various Water Hygiene / Plumbing duties including deadleg removals, rerouting and replacing PVC / copper pipework and installing, servicing and replacing of TMVs. Applicant must come from a strong water hygiene / legionella background and be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of legionella remedial works and associated guidelines.     Consideration will be given to candidates from: Birmingham, Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Warrick, Solihull, Ludlow, Kidderminster, Stourbridge, Dudley, Telford, Shrewsbury, Stafford, Walsall, West Bromwich, Burton upon Trent, Lichfield, Coleville, Tamworth.

    Experience & Qualifications:

    • Will hold an industry recognised qualification e.g., City and Guilds / NVQ L2/L3 in Plumbing.
    • Must have experience working for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
    • Excellent knowledge of HSG / ACoP L8 guidelines.
    • Ability to work in line with company needs.
    • Will have excellent communication skills.
    The Role:
    • Carrying out deadleg removals.
    • Undertaking fault-finding on site and ensuring any issues are rectified in a timely manner.
    • Removal and rerouting of copper / PVC pipework.
    • Ensuring plumbing work has been carried out correctly and signing off upon completion.
    • Installing, replacing, and servicing of TMVs.
    • CWST refurbishment and installations.
    • Conducting expansion valve installation.
    • Water sampling.
    • Temperature monitoring.
    • Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG / ACoP L8 guidelines.
    • Filling out onsite logbooks accurately upon completion of work.
    Alternative Job titles: Plumber, Remedial Plumber, Water Hygiene Plumber, Legionella Plumber.
