    Teacher of RE

    Hours per week: Full time, permanent

    We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated RE teacher who would like to be part of a forward-looking team, focused on developing exciting and engaging learning experiences for all students. The Social Science faculty is a friendly and welcoming team, who are committed to providing high quality teaching and a breadth and richness of experience for the young people who take these subjects.

    For us, teaching RE is about helping children discover who they are and what they believe; and then giving them the knowledge, skills, and understanding to express this in an appropriate and respectful way. The benefits of the programme of study in this subject go far beyond the discrete RE lessons which are delivered, and we are currently exploring how we can develop these broader aspects as part of our commitment to oracy and giving all children the confidence to express their own voice.

    You will be joining KSA at a time where we are setting out an ambitious plan for the future based around three key themes of belonging, reflection, and collaboration. Ultimately, we exist to enable everyone connected with the school to be the best they can be. We are clear that all children deserve our unwavering and unconditional regard, and we have ambitious plans for making this a reality in all our classrooms and in all our interactions.
