    We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Night Nurse at HMP Winchester to join our team. HMP Winchester is a Category B Local remand prison located in Central Winchester accommodating approximately 670 male prisoners.

    Although the site is close to Winchester city centre there is onsite (free) parking for all staff and it is a short walk from Winchester train station.

    Within this position you will be working as a night nurse in a full time capacity, this will include working shifts patterns of 7 nights on and 7 nights off.

    This position is full time hours a week and youll receive an annual salary up to 49,770 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

    Golden Hello - 3,000 (1,000 in 6 months of service, 1,000 after 12 months and 1,000 after 24 months of service - conditions apply).

    Main duties of the job

    As a Registered Nurse (Adult) youll be an integral part of the healthcare team at HMP Winchester by bringing your clinical skills and passion for care. You could be involved in anything from

  • Developing and leading clinics,
  • Undertaking examinations and tests as well as answering emergency bells and potentially being the first person to attend an emergency.
  • You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions
