SF Recruitment are working with a leading, global manufacturing business based in Warwickshire to recruit for a Buyer. This role would suit a buyer who has a proven skillset in; supplier resourcing/selection, negotiations & strategic procurement. An end-to-end role whereby you will be responsible for all procurement aspects within your assigned commodities. Flexible, hybrid working environment.


Responsibilities:

• Manage end to end procurement activities within assigned commodities/direct spend areas.
• Manage multiple resource / capacity projects with suppliers Identify and drive cost reduction activities.
• Responsible for contractual negotiations for your suppliers Develop and lead global supplier relationships to deliver tangible mutual benefits Build strong relationships internally and across the supplier base, be responsible and accountable to make and influence key decisions.

Skillset Requirements:

• Understanding of key cost drivers within a supply base
• Confident negotiator with a proven record of taking cost out
• Experience managing multiple projects and co ordinating cross functional teams to ensure on time delivery
• Experience working with a global supply base
• Experience managing high level supplier relationships
