    An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Housing and Estate Services as a Project Development Officer.

    Sitting within the Housing section of the Adult Care, Housing and Public Health directorate, you will play a pivotal role in delivering against the development of policies, procedures, processes and the customer facing content of the Council.

    We are looking for someone:-

    • Who will work alongside colleagues from within the Housing to work collaboratively across the Council and with its partners to assist in the development and review of the documents that support the wider functions.
    • Able to write reports to management, Cabinet, committees, Council and partnerships as required to ensure appropriate governance and decision-making.
    • Able to develop strategies, plans and policies for the Council and its key partnerships, as required, in relation to the team's responsibilities.
    • Able to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
    • Able to work proactively whilst organising their time effectively.
    • Able to develop revised policies, procedures, collate, analyse and interpret customer data, providing insight to drive effective decision making and improve the customer experience.

    Having knowledge and experience of the associated housing processes would be an advantage but is not essential.
