The job itself:

Personal Assistant required to work with a young lady, based in Bridlington.

This post is for 12 hours per week during school holidays. Time and days are flexible to suit both the worker and the young lady.

The post will entail accompanying a 20 year old girl with autism and severe visual impairment on days out. With the aim of promoting and encouraging her independence and confidence. These could include shopping, lunch and coffee shops, day trips, walking and visiting places of interest. Or some days may be just having a drink and a chat.

The lady has a wide variety of interests, particularly Pokémon, gaming and Disney.

The successful applicant should be of a kind and caring nature, patient and preferably have experience of autism.
