What's the role?
CC Lead Data Catalogue CoE is a key member of Data Management & Data Governance team.

This person is responsible to 'lead from the front' a team of highly technical Data catalogue functionality SMEs (Center of Excellence team), who are responsible for growing, maturing, and optimizing our Data Catalogue capabilities, and wider data tooling functionality for cross functional teams.

This position will give you the opportunity to grow to become an active leader who shapes delivery of technical catalogue capabilities and work closely with a wide group of Project / Product team members and stakeholders for Data management Solutions.


This position has the following accountabilities:

  • You will act as a Hands-on technical delivery leader and visible community leader for metadata.
  • You will lead technical enhancements Center of Excellence team and optimize technical functionality for use by data catalogue Capability Center and business catalogue users.
  • Plan and prioritize technical functionality delivery and roadmap with input from business, IT peers and vendor.
  • A skilled communicator to both technical developers and business managers.
  • Able to drive change and improvement through a deep understanding of the interrelationship between People, Process, Data and Technology.
  • Conceptualize and design Data Foundation initiatives in support of key business programs.
  • Coordinate as needed change, incident and problem management processes.
  • Ensure traceability of requirements from Data needs and business requirements, through testing and scope changes, to training and transition
  • Drives & contributes to community building data catalogue Center of Excellence & Community of Practice

What we need from you

  • Extensive experience in the IT industry with relevant technical delivery experience
  • Significant technical handson experience with Collibra
  • Comprehensive knowledge and hands on experience in conceptualizing, designing and delivering end to end data solutions with technologies such as Collibra, MDM solutions and Databricks
  • Hands on experience in designing data foundation initiatives such as data quality, data governance, data maturity assessments and data strategy in support of the key business stake holders
  • Experience in working Project management/AGILE methodologies
  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication, presentational skills and stakeholder engagement
  • Proven ability to handle broad set of IT Delivery, Support, Architecture and Strategy leaders and stakeholder
  • Collibra ranger certification preferred
