Position: AI / Machine Learning (Summer Intake)
Role Responsibilities:
? Researching and developing ideas/solutions to assist and achieve department objectives.
? Supporting mathematical modeling and analytical simulations of Spacecraft trajectories.
? Working with given datasets performing the required calculations, and writing codes, to perform
any given calculations.
? Writing codes to simulate given conditions, with given parameters, and give robust results.
Position Requirements:
1. The candidate should possess a Masters degree in Computer Science, Astronomy, Astrophysics,
Space Engineering, electrical communication engineering, or Electrical/Control System engineering.
2. Good knowledge of statistics and mathematical modeling.
3. Strong understanding of orbital mechanics and spacecraft controls.
4. Experience programming in Python and/or Matlab/Simulink.
5. Strong skills in debugging, performance optimization, and unit testing.
6. Experience in pipelining, bash scripting, and working with satellite data desired.
7. In addition to the technical knowledge required for this position, applicants should be outgoing,
creative, and highly motivated.
