    Description

    Job Function:

    To be the primary contact on our Grimme franchise, providing expertise and support on their entire product range. The role will be focused on assisting the sales team in configuring and selling Grimme products, growing our aftermarket business and ensuring all customers receive world class customer experience.

    Essential Duties:

    • To be seen internally as 'the knowledge hub' for Grimme, sharing sales knowledge and working closely with workshop and parts teams to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant products.
    • Works with sales managers to develop, maintain and manage the execution of a sales marketing plan concerning Grimme products.
    • Develops and delivers sales training for Grimme products.
    • Works with the sales support team to identify and lead training opportunities for customer education programs, clinics and special events.
    • Manages ongoing relationships with key Grimme personnel.
    • Liaising with the existing Demonstration and Optimisation Team to ensure a smooth transition and delivery.
    • Proactively appraising customers' existing machinery and offering advise along with hints and tips to enable them to get the best out of their machines.
    • To be responsible for the Grimme product in sales and aftersales as a key account role actively promoting this key franchise.
    • Carrying out expert check appraisals to facilitate and grow parts sales.
    • Supporting the service team during busy seasonal periods to ensure customers receive world class customer experience

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Expert level of knowledge and expertise in Grimme products
    • At least two years technical experience
    • The ability to converse, communicate and deliver relevant product information and convincing sales pitches to high profile customers.
    • Ability to interact with customers and develop/build a relationship that ultimately delivers a positively satisfying experience and Grimme sales for the business
    • Always presents a professional image
    • Happy working alone as well as part of a team
    • A valid driving licence is essential
    • Based within commutable distance of the Worlingworth and Ardleigh depots which is where the majority of the equipment is sold from.
